I was happy to find a very nice shop close to home. I have spent the last 36 years in California where I had a mechanic whom I trusted and appreciated very much. Hopefully, this will be the same sort of relationship.

Cost is somewhat higher than some I've used previously; however, always do good and work, job completed when promised, and no associated problems to follow up on later. Thanks for the usual good, prompt work!

JARS checked out the electrical system, zeroed in on a failing alternator and had my car back to me the same day. I continue to be pleased by the quality and speed of service.

Great place ! The service is exemplary, quick, and priced reasonably in comparison to the dealerships. I've been taking my Acura here since the day I purchased it, amazingly on the recommendation of my salesperson at the dealership. He (quietly) advised me this would be much more inexpensive than bringing it back to the dealership (across town in Irving). PLUS, for me, it's just blocks from my neighborhood. (Located on Webb Chapel, just south of Beltline in the Carrollton/Farmers Branch/Addison area)JAR has been a very painless experience when needing service. They prefer to work by appointment, but do take walk-ins. I love it that they will even bring me home should I choose not to wait at their shop for maintenance that would take more than an hour. They really saved the day for me recently when, while backing out of the driveway, my power steering went out just as I had rolled into the street. Being a weak wimp, I couldn't even turn the wheel to straighten the car, but got it crookedly back into the driveway. Called them, and they were at my door in less than an hour. Upon opening the hood, discovered that, alas, a HUGE rat had crawled up under the hood (probably to get warm) and had chewed the belt almost completely through. Upon starting the car, the poor RAT was also "chewed up" when the belt broke. Yuk! Remains all over the engine, not a pretty sight ! The (strong) tech was able to drive my car back to the shop, whereupon the problem was quickly resolved. That darn Rat cost me almost $80, including labor, repairs, fluids, etc. and engine cleaning. But, JAR was a lifesaver !! Another time, walked in the garage one morning to discover a flat tire. Yep, JAR to the rescue again. As their appointment schedule that day was full, they sent a service (Auto Rescue) AT THEIR EXPENSE, to change my tire. Whoopee! Could you ask for any better service than that? JAR services Lexus, Acura, Infiniti, Mazda, Honda, Mitsubishi, all Japanese makes & models, and are certified and qualified to perform any service or maintenance keeping your factory warranty intact. This is a the best place I know of for repairs and maintenance on Honda vehicles. David and his staff are very knowledgeable and care about customers. I trust that he is honest in his assessment of any trouble with the car and his pricing. This is an auto repair center I trust which is a rare rare thing!
